Full description of the position

Specialty Food Broker is looking for a full time Field Sales Representative / Service Deli Technician to cover Service Deli in retail grocery chain in the San Bernardino and Riverside areas. Responsibilities include managing assigned territory and working closely with store personnel. The individual must be able to work and travel independently and visit numerous store locations to ensure the requirements of the company and customers are met. Position reports to Horizon's Field Sales Manager. A deli technician performs a variety of tasks, including: * Customer support: Visit stores and provide customer support with an assigned customer * Training: Conduct Deli training in the assigned market area; execute and train standard operating practices. * Reporting: Prepare reports and provide feedback to management * Utilize various tools like our meat and cheese slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens. * Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with in-store and management level customer operators * Prepare food items * Comfortable with Ovens, Frying Chicken and other foods. * Stock and display merchandise for sale to customers * Assist with field sales team initiatives as needed * Operate department equipment in safe efficient manner * Maintain merchandise in cases, shelves for orderly display and rotation * Maintain stock in storage area * Order replacement merchandise and supplies as needed * Maintain logs and records of damaged and lost merchandise * Follow all safety rules and regulations * Computer skills: basic Word, Excel and Outlook required * Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Sales Occupations: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: * Inland Empire/San Bernardino, CA (Required) Pay: $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Cell phone reimbursement * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off * Paid training * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
