Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their shopping needs. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment, ensuring product availability, and driving sales through effective communication and merchandising strategies. Responsibilities * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with product inquiries. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. * Maintain the sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring displays are visually appealing. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits. * Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales. * Assist in supervising store operations, including training new staff members on best practices. * Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment. * Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and phone etiquette. * Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve store performance. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations. * Experience in merchandising and stocking products to enhance store appearance. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for improved customer interaction. * Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to advance within the company.
