Valley Communications, Inc. A leading provider of commercial low voltage solutions is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our Sacramento, CA Team. The ideal candidate will organically grow sales through lead development, networking, and focused sales strategy. To be successful you must be trustworthy, have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the desire to learn. Industry knowledge of low voltage systems including: Structured Cabling, Security Management Systems (Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV), Audio Visual Systems and Wireless is a plus. Responsibilities: - Develop relationships with Developers, Architects, General Contractors, Electrical Contractors and Commercial End Users. - Prospecting for new clients: Generate, identify, and qualify business leads. - Perform job walks to gain an understanding of environment and requirements. - Responsible for generating comprehensive project description and scope of work. - Develop and present proposals or contracts needed. - Follow-up with customers and close deals. Required Skills: - Possess an outgoing, and friendly demeanor. - Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. - Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team to meet goals. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Maintain a high degree of professionalism in dress, speech, and communication. - Detail-oriented and organized. - Good time management and prioritization skills. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Acrobat. - Valid Driver's License and ability to meet insurance requirements. - Able to successfully pass a background check.
