Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience * Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts * Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to keep the store inviting and well-organized * Maintain proper phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone * Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing displays * Apply retail math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reconciliation * Use effective communication skills to inform customers about promotions, loyalty programs, and product details * Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth daily operations * Perform basic grocery store functions such as scanning items, managing checkout lines, and ensuring cleanliness Qualifications * Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus * Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous * Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures * Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking practices, and store presentation standards * Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills in fast-paced environments * Basic math skills for retail transactions, inventory counts, and cash handling accuracy * Prior experience in grocery stores or similar retail settings is beneficial but not required * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a lively retail environment Join us today to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while growing your career in retail sales!
