ABOUT MARK III EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Mark III is an insurance brokerage that provides consulting and marketing services for employee benefits programs. Since 1973, this family-owned and operated company has grown to be the largest public sector broker in the Southeast servicing over 120 large group employers. JOB SUMMARY The Account Executive plays a key role in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, providing expert guidance on employee benefits, and driving new business growth within the public sector. This client-facing position is responsible for presenting to prospective clients, supporting renewal processes, explaining benefits and pricing in a clear and compelling manner, and collaborating with the support team to ensure that client objectives and expectations are consistently met. QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
- Solid knowledge of employee benefits and insurance products.
- Relevant industry certifications or active insurance licenses required.
- ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Present to prospective clients during initial sales meetings, clearly explaining the Mark III difference.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients to understand their insurance and employee benefits needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector to drive growth.
- Provide expert guidance on a variety of employee benefits programs and insurance products.
- Help clients evaluate and select appropriate products and solutions that best fit their workforce and budget.
- Present benefit plan options, rates, and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Attend conferences, networking events, and other professional gatherings to build relationships and represent Mark III.
- Collaborate closely with political consultants and other strategic partners to support client acquisition and retention.
- Work hand-in-hand with the service team to ensure smooth implementation, renewal support, and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity when interacting with clients, partners, and colleagues.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to ensure compliance and deliver competitive, up-to-date solutions. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
