Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, assisting customers, and maintaining an inviting shopping environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be essential in promoting products and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Responsibilities * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling where appropriate. * Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment that highlights promotions and new products. * Assist in stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring that the sales floor is clean and well-maintained. * Utilize basic math skills for retail math calculations to assist with inventory management and sales reporting. * Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries. Skills * Must be 18 and above * Some experience in retail sales or customer service environments. * Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. * Ability to demonstrate products effectively through engaging product demos. * Supervising experience is advantageous for those looking to take on leadership responsibilities within the team.
