Associate Sales Manager - South Florida's Leading Custom Closet Company JL Closets, a 35-year leader in premium custom closets and storage solutions, is seeking a driven and highly organized Associate Sales Manager to support our growing South Florida sales organization. This position plays a key leadership role in helping grow the company, develop sales talent, and ensure the team consistently meets performance targets. Candidates must live in Broward or Palm Beach County and be comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. About the Position The Associate Sales Manager will work closely with the Sales Manager to grow the Florida market by supporting the recruitment, training, and development of new salespeople (designers), while ensuring accountability to activity goals and close-rate standards. This role offers strong leadership visibility, significant ownership of team performance, and a clear path to become a full-fledged Sales Manager within the company. Responsibilities Supporting the Sales Manager in: * Training and onboarding new designers * Joining designers on sales calls and providing performance feedback * Ensuring accountability to activity goals and close-rate targets * Providing sales support when needed, including assisting designers with complex client appointments * Improving sales processes and helping optimize the company's training program * Maintaining accurate reporting, monitoring designer pipelines, and ensuring proper follow-up * Supporting updates to product offerings, pricing, and sales materials * Driving a culture of professionalism, organization, and high performance Qualifications * Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience * Extensive experience in in-home sales or luxury sales (required) * Proven ability to close high-value or high-touch sales * Strong leadership and communication skills; experience coaching or supporting sales teams is a plus * Prior Sales Manager experience is a plus, but not required * CAD design experience is a plus, but not required * High proficiency with technology and the ability to learn systems quickly * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up discipline * Reliable transportation and willingness to support designers in the field frequently (this role involves significant driving to client homes and sales meetings) * Experience in the closet industry or luxury residential environment is a plus Compensation & Schedule * Base Salary: $60,000 annually * Bonus: Uncapped performance-based bonus * Paid Time Off (PTO) * Full-time role, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays * 45 -50+ hours per week expected Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Benefits: Paid time off About JL Closets Founded in 1991, JL Closets has become a leader in custom closet and storage solutions across South Florida.
