Full description of the position
Dana Safety Supply is seeking a Salesperson for Law Enforcement Vehicle Equipment for the El Paso, TX region. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing relationships with law enforcement and public safety agencies, identifying their vehicle upfitting needs, and presenting tailored solutions. This role requires strong knowledge of emergency vehicle equipment, the sales cycle, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Identify and engage potential customers in the law enforcement and public safety sectors. * Promote and sell a full line of vehicle upfitting products and services (e.g., lights, sirens, cages, consoles, mounts, radios, and more). * Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. * Conduct onsite visits, equipment demonstrations, and product consultations. * Prepare and present quotes, bids, and proposals in response to customer inquiries or RFPs. * Collaborate with in-house technicians and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction. * Stay current with industry trends, products, and compliance standards. Work Hours: Minimum work week of 40 hours or whatever it takes to meet sales goals. Travel may include times outside this standard work schedule. Access our website for more details [please apply online] * Three years of outside sales experience (Industry experience preferred). * Sales experience in the law enforcement distribution industry, particularly with a focus on soft good products to include, duty gear, clothing and body armor. * Strong communication and Interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of local market dynamics. * Proficiency in CRM software. * Self-motivated and results oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. * Attend trade shows and other sales related functions. * Ability to work independently and maintain the overall sales strategy * 75% of time spent traveling and visiting customers. * Maintain a professional and approachable appearance. * Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. * Valid Driver's License with a Clear Driving Record.
