Segment: Environmental, Landscape & Tree Care Essential Functions * Develop and maintain relationships with tree care professionals, landscapers, land clearing contractors, and municipal customers within your territory * Promote and sell Vermeer's Environmental equipment line, including brush chippers, stump cutters, horizontal grinders, and skid steers. * Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through networking, market analysis, and proactive customer outreach. * Conduct field equipment demonstrations and provide technical presentations at customer job sites to showcase product performance and ROI. * Manage the full sales cycle including new and used equipment sales, rentals, parts, service agreements, and financing support. * Load and unload equipment onto trailers and towing equipment to job sites for demos or delivery when required. * Support customers in the development of job-specific solutions, leveraging Vermeer technology and best practices. * Partner with internal teams and Accounts Receivable to ensure contracts, payments, and customer accounts remain in good standing. * Maintain an expert-level understanding of Vermeer products, alliance partner solutions, and competitor equipment to effectively position Vermeer in the market. * Represent Vermeer Mountain West at trade shows, training sessions, and industry events to promote brand visibility and strengthen customer relationships. * Follow all company safety policies and site safety requirements, ensuring that Vermeer is represented with professionalism and accountability. * Perform other duties assigned by management to support customer success and business growth. Physical Requirements * The ability to frequently stand, walk, and move between job sites, customer locations, and various departments. * Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds when handling equipment, parts, or sales materials. * Ability to load and unload equipment onto trailers and tow it to customer job sites. * Frequent travel within the assigned territory, involving long periods of driving and site visits. * Prolonged periods of walking, bending, stooping, and reaching when performing fieldwork or demonstrating equipment. * of walking, bending, stooping, and reaching when performing fieldwork or demonstrating equipment.
