About the Job As a product expert you will be helping guide our customers to the right diet for their pups. We are looking for articulate and motivated employees who share our passion for helping pet parents love their dog! We have opportunities at our Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton locations. Associates at these location belong to a single team and may be scheduled at both locations within the same week, based on associate needs and availability. Responsibilities and Essential Functions * Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other WDFC products * Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and product knowledge to answer questions and educate about WDFC * Establish and maintain customer relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers * Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management and point of sale policies * Follow WDFC policies and procedures, including those for safety, security, POS, etc. Qualifications * Passionate and motivated to make a difference in the health and lives of dogs * Retail or consultative sales experience; pet nutrition experience a plus * Skilled at assessing needs, sharing features and benefits of products, overcoming objections and wrapping up productive consults * Able to help multiple customers at once * Strong interpersonal skills * Drive to meet and exceed goals * POS and iPad skills * Able to lift 50 lbs overhead * Strong time management and organizational skills * Veterinary experience a plus Work Environment * Exposure to dogs * Exposure to cold * Exposure to heat * Exposure to wet floors Physical Requirements * Ability to use a ladder * Ability to kneel and bend over * Must be able to lift up to 50lbs overhead * Ability to stand for extended periods of time Position Type, Work Hours, Location Part Time, flexible schedule between 10 AM and 6 PM 6900 Congress Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33487 Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
