Learn how to manage a real life business with an existing customer base, liabilities and accounts payable. We are seeking world-class students that are looking to break into corporate America and kickstart their financial independence with our nationwide average pay being $24,000- $27,000 during the 14 weeks of summer. Build equity by building a customer base that you have equity in. Not selling for someone else only. This includes door to door sales and business to business sales. Our training program can take top-tier students and turn them into marketing and sales experts in under 90 days, resulting in opportunities to advance into higher positions within the company. You will need to be a high achiever with strong character and ethical values, as you will be working with educated, analytical, and thorough prospects. We have a friendly, fun, and self-driven sales environment. Each intern is paired with an experienced representative that will mentor them throughout the entire program. You must be disciplined and willing to work hard day in and day out. If you are not highly persuasive or have experience communicating professionally with other people, this isn't the position for you. About the Position: Working with a team of sales reps in a new city, rent free. Learning sales and obtaining real life experience by prospecting with potential clients to generate new revenue and close the deal. Take part in paid formal and informal training opportunities. Measure and report the results of marketing and sales initiatives. Contributes to many tasks, including administrative and office-related activities as needed. Register customers and input information in our software systems. Qualifications/Skills: Applied understanding of basic sales principles. Willing to work hard as this is an outside sales position. Creative problem-solving skills. Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and with a team. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong desire to learn along with professional drive. Passion for the marketing and sales industry and its best practices. Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly.
