Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Salesperson to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in building customer relationships, demonstrating vehicles, and closing sales. The Automotive Salesperson will be responsible for engaging prospective buyers, managing the sales pipeline, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and dealership growth. Responsibilities * Engage with customers both in-person and via outbound calls to identify their vehicle needs and preferences. * Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits effectively to prospective buyers. * Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, B2B sales, and networking. * Negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and financing options to close deals successfully. * Upsell additional products or services such as extended warranties or accessories to maximize sales opportunities. * Manage inventory control and assist with inventory management tasks to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand. * Utilize CRM software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress efficiently. * Maintain high standards of phone etiquette, communication skills, and customer service throughout the sales process. * Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies that attract new customers. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new vehicle models to provide expert advice. Experience * Proven experience in automotive sales or retail sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Experience with outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end sales is preferred. * Familiarity with CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math is highly desirable. * Excellent negotiation skills combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients simultaneously. * Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases. * Strong communication skills including public speaking and phone etiquette are essential for success in this role. * Prior dealership experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for automobiles and customer service is critical.
