Secure Products Inc. (SPC) Corporate Headquarters - Lombard, Illinois This is an entry-level role with compensation and responsibilities aligned to that level. ENTRY LEVEL POSITION ONLY - Secure Products is currently seeking a entry level Sales Account Representative for its Business Development team to join our growing organization. We are looking for a self-motivated person to support new growth for a privately owned company expanding in new markets and product offerings. They will be responsible for contributing to the execution of the Sales strategy for the company and will act as a liaison between Operations, Finance and Customers as needed. Our company was established in 1990. Secure Products is a security products and security packaging and supply distributor with an emphasis on Cash in Transit/cash processing supplies and equipment. We provide solutions that include all aspects of the cash cycle in the market. We offer products and services for every medium of cash availability. We specialize in cash deposit bags as well as equipment for cash processing, loss prevention, tamper evidence, identification, personal protection and custom design. Job Responsibilities: Sell available products and services in the U.S., Canada, and PR. Orchestrate new Sales initiatives and create interaction with Customers to develop relationships and support new channel opportunities. Involvement in information gathering information and provide weekly reporting of Sales activity. Drive new business acquisition and market penetration through high levels of activity (cold calls and prospect visits) * Achievement of monthly new billings target through Research Sales * Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology. * Conduct a minimum level of outbound activity to promote and demonstrate solutions. * At any given time, a sales pipeline with a minimum of four times coverage of the monthly sales revenue growth target. * Targeted, strategic, ongoing canvassing to build industry networks and relationships. Maintain accurate database of activity, client interaction and opportunity sales stage. * Accurate and current records of customer and prospective customer contact status in the customer database. Qualifications: This is an entry-level role with compensation and responsibilities aligned to that level. An Associates or Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, professional selling or related business program is preferred but not required. * Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills * Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work independently and within a team environment. * Microsoft Office experience with proficiency in Excel and Power Point or equivalents. * The position supports remote home office work, M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but hours are flexible to accommodate personal priorities and various U.S. time zones of Customers. Qualified applicants must have the ability to travel within the United States and Puerto Rico. The forecasted amount of business travel is 2% or less. As the business develops, so may the travel requirements. Position Type: Full-Time/Regular Secure Products offers a robust compensation package based upon results and provides competitive benefits: * Negotiable vacation allowance for first year and structured annually there after * Approved travel expense reimbursement * Monthly Sales commission pay. Quarterly and Annual incentive pay based on performance and company business plan achievement. * Medical benefits, paid training, holiday pay and various economic benefits. Schedule: * Flexible Working Hours during the traditional workday / early evenings. * Work is performed primarily Monday through Friday however some conferences have evening events. Most traditional holidays are observed. Education: * Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required Experience: * B2B Sales 1 year minimum experience in a dedicated Sales role (Preferred) Work Location: * Must be able to work from home. Customary hardware, software and connectivity is provided. This position can be performed from any of the lower 48 states.
