Full description of the position

Job Summary The Business Development Specialist is responsible to develop and execute various activities to generate more inbound and outbound lead generation that results in accelerated revenue growth. In this roll you will work directly with the marketing and sales department as well as customer decision makers. Duties * Assist in lead generation campaigns * Organize and track leads received * Make the first customer contact by e mail or phone call to gather preliminary information on the size of the opportunity and their interest to: * Pre-qualify the leads value and confirm there are no conflicts of interest * If super small such as a new company with no locations, they will take over the lead and assign to themselves and present SandStar to the customer * Other leads will then be assigned to sales or Enterprise level, or manufacturing leads will be assigned to management * Organize and track all leads thru the sales funnel to maximize closure rates * Research and organize competitor strengths and weaknesses to provide SWOT reporting to management quarterly with recommendations on how to strengthen SandStar competitiveness. * Research new industries verticals to help determine if SandStar should target new products or new lead strategies to maximize a new vertical * Participate in tradeshows * Assist marketing with video capture * Once a new customer is sold participate in the onboarding process and be proactive to ensure customer expectations and deliver dates are achieved ensuring an on time successful delivery. * Existing customer service to include: * Building customer relationships proactively * Escalate and follow-up on customer concerns * Upselling existing customers to buy more products * Introduce new products to existing customers * Conducting surveys * Account retention * Assist marketing to develop PR and case studies Required Skills and Experience * Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business development finance, business administration, or related experience preferred. * At least four years' experience as a marketing manager ideally for a technology based or consumer goods company. * Proficiency in electronic marketing automation software such as HubSpot Marketing and Bitrix24. * Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding. * Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities. * Exceptional writing, verbal, presentation and editing skills. * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. * Must be very outgoing and persistent.
