Full description of the position

Job Title - Inside Sales Rep Reports To: Vice President of Sales Purpose of Position: The Inside Sales Rep will serve as the voice of XS for customer service and inside sales working with current and potential customers in dealer channels to support all sales initiatives. This role is critical in cultivating, growing and maintaining the company's firearm dealer and sporting goods store base. The Inside Sales rep will develop meaningful relations with customers by assessing customer needs, identifying opportunities, selling the products to meet those needs and ensuring customer satisfaction with the product received while driving revenue through proactive, calculated outbound sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is a self-starter, passionate about helping dealers find the right sighting solutions for their customers. The Inside Sales Rep will directly contribute to the execution of the company's sales goals while encouraging trust and loyalty for the XS Brand. Essential Job Functions: * Conduct daily outbound sales calls to dealers promoting XS Sights products, programs, and seasonal promotions. * Generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders and developing accounts * Cultivate meaningful relationships with buyers that result in a very tight relationship between XS Sights and the storefront. * Serve as a primary internal contact for dealer buyers, answering questions, recommending products, and providing support that reflects XS Sights' commitment to exceptional customer experience. * Educate accounts on full XS product line helping customers increase sales and improve product knowledge. * Maintain accurate CRM records, including call notes, quotes, and order activity. * Identify new account opportunities within the firearms dealer network and nurture them through the sales cycle. * Process orders, quotes, and returns with accuracy and professionalism. * Support dealer programs such as the Point of Impact Partner Program, promotional spiffs, and new product launches. * Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure customers receive accurate product information and timely deliveries. * Meet monthly sales goals, KPIs, and outbound call quotas. * Gather customer insights and competitive feedback to help inform sales strategy and product development. * Close sales by verifying and entering PO's to ensure clean order entry * Represent XS Sights at trade shows, dealer events, and other events as needed * Work cooperatively with other departments and be a team player assisting the XS Team in achieving company goals * Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures * Maintain existing database and provide data analyzation to prepare routine and ad hoc reports * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area * Meet or exceed productivity metrics / goals assigned * Perform all duties in accordance with all established quality and safety procedures/work instructions * Other duties may be deemed necessary Core XS Values & Expectations: We strive to be "First Choice" for our prospective employees, customers, suppliers and strategic partners. Skills & Qualifications: * 2+ years of inside sales, account management, or customer service experience--preferably in the firearms, sporting goods, or outdoor industries. * Strong communication skills and a service-first mindset. * Mathematical - Ability to calculate percentages, sales prices and discounts quickly and accurately * The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports, as well as ability to write reports and professional business correspondence * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple accounts and priorities. * Comfortable discussing technical product features and explaining the benefits of sight upgrades, optics mounting solutions, and aftermarket firearm accessories. * Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite * Able to travel as required * Per Federal Law and due to XS being a manufacturing facility in the firearms industry, all XS employees are required to legally be able to own a firearm, possess a firearm, or purchase a firearm. * Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining all required work tasks and keeping management appraised of company metrics and goals Work Environment: Full time position at XS Sights headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. Employee works standard business hours with occasional flexibility for industry events. Som travel for trade shows/dealer support/sales calls is required. XS Sights is a typical machine shop and office environment. The office environment will remain gun friendly and gun safe. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however some loud noises occasionally occur.
