Job Summary * Manage and expand established accounts with technical product lines; develop new accounts. * Read and comply to Drawings, Solicitations/technical Contract requirements and Notes, Table Controls, Industrial Standards and Military Specifications. * Prepare quotes for industrial / defense / after-market buyers * For items we manufacturer in house involves determining raw material cost, material yield, production time, transit cost, packaging requirement, and direct labor cost based on company guidelines. For distribute items involves identifying sources, obtaining quotes, verify quality requirements have been met, calculate overhead, & mark up. * Research procurement history and industry trends to determine marketing strategies. * Follow up awards for all quotes, evaluate and analyze results. * Communicate with customers and suppliers professionally and timely, help resolve problems. * Source qualified suppliers and product. Develop markets for new product lines. Qualifications and Skills * MUST have strong math skills. * Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills. * A track record of achieving goals. * Detail oriented, organized, can prioritize, can multi-task, accuracy a must, strong reading / writing skills, good people and communication skills, knowledgeable in Excel, Access, typing 50 WPM, 10-key. * US citizen. * 4-year College engineering or science degree preferred. * 1-2 year Technical / Engineering / Science / Business training preferred * 1-2 year Manufacturing / Industrial product & service experience preferred.
