SupplyLand is a fast-growing supplier of packaging, industrial, and facility essentials, and we're looking for an Outside Sales Associate who can bring energy, personality, and top-tier service to every customer interaction. The hours for this position would be Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. SupplyLand is part of a billion dollar company as their e-commerce division with a focus on business customers. Born to service Midland's customers that run on their pallets. We help with the packaging, safety, cleaning, and miscellaneous end. While we may have only been around for 3 years, we have been able to double our sales every year since launching; causing us to rapidly outgrow our 18,000 sq ft warehouse space and allowing us to move into a 60,000 sq ft warehouse space. We have also increased what we are able to offer our customers; going from 1,700 products when we launched to now over 8,000 products. Key responsibilities * Build strong, friendly relationships with customers while helping them find the right products--quickly, accurately, and confidently. * Reach out to prospective customers through outbound phone calls and email communication to establish and convert new account conversions. * Create quotes, enter orders, and keep customer information neat, organized, and easily accessible. * Collaborate with leadership and colleagues to identify new opportunities to best serve the customer with quality products they may not even know we can provide. * Use your attention to detail to ensure orders, pricing, and product recommendations are accurately input into the system. The ideal candidate would be someone who: * Ability to build strong professional relationships and network effectively. * Has a keen attention to detail * Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, learning new products, understanding of computers programs, CRMs, and email. * Possesses the ability to multitask and prioritize. * Has reliable transportation. * Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities. * Self-motivated, independent, and driven to achieve sales performance goals. * Familiarity with the packaging industry, including materials, design, and sustainability trends is a plus, but not required.
