The Building Materials "Floor Associate" possesses excellent customer service skills. The Floor Associate will assist customers at the registers, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate as well as keep the retail floor stocked and clean/organized. BENEFITS: * Employee discount * Advancements and Growth Opportunities * Ongoing training and development * Paid leave * Health Insurance * Other types of insurance * 401k ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Stoop, Kneel, Crouch or Crawl Periodically * Lift and Carry up to 50lbs repeatedly * Stand prolonged periods KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Knowledge of the store layout, inventory, company policy, etc. * Locate products for customers. * Stock bins and maintain store cleanliness and organization. * Communicate low or out of stock materials to "purchasing" for replenishment. * Perform and or assist in cycle counts and physical inventory. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Ability to organize a daily workload by priority. * Attend safety meetings as needed. * Observes store areas for safety, potential theft and security risks. * Ensure that customer expectations are communicated to "operations/Management" as necessary.
