Job Title: Sales Coordinator - Hotel Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Sales Manager / Director of Sales Job Summary The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales & Marketing team by handling administrative tasks, coordinating client communications, and ensuring smooth execution of sales activities. This role acts as a link between sales, operations, and clients to help maximize hotel revenue and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and sales team * Handle sales inquiries, prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts * Maintain and update client databases, sales records, and CRM systems * Coordinate site inspections, sales calls, and client meetings * Follow up on leads, tentative bookings, and confirmations * Assist in the coordination of group bookings, events, and conferences * Liaise with departments such as Front Office, Reservations, Banquet, and Finance to ensure accurate execution of bookings * Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentation materials * Ensure all contracts and agreements are properly documented and filed * Handle client correspondence professionally via email and phone * Other Duties as assigned Required Qualifications & Skills * Diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) * Previous experience in hotel sales, reservations, or front office is an advantage * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems * Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines * Team-oriented with a proactive and professional attitude Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Timely and accurate handling of sales documentation * Lead response time and follow-up effectiveness * Support provided to achieve sales targets * Client satisfaction and internal coordination efficiencyMarriott International, Inc.
