APPLY HERE: [please apply online] Director of SalesPosition Overview The Director of Sales at Spectacular Academy is a senior executive leader responsible for architecting, scaling, and owning the entire sales ecosystem. This role builds the sales machine, develops high-performing teams, and drives predictable, profitable revenue growth across all sales channels. This is a high-ownership leadership seat on the Executive Leadership Team. The Director of Sales is accountable for revenue performance, forecasting accuracy, sales infrastructure, and team execution--without reliance on founder intervention. Position Type In-Office - Not Hybrid or Remote Classification Highly Paid Exempt Location Ontario, California 91761 Expectations for the Director of Sales SeatSales Department Ownership (Sole Responsibility) * Own the performance, structure, and results of the entire sales department, including setters, closers, outbound teams, enrollment specialists, and event-based sales. * Build, enforce, and continuously improve a repeatable sales operating system with clear stages, metrics, KPIs, and accountability rhythms. * Ensure pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting, and consistent execution across all sales channels. Revenue & Growth Leadership (Sole Responsibility) * Set ambitious but achievable revenue targets and ensure execution plans are in place to hit them. * Drive revenue through inbound, outbound, event, and strategic pipeline initiatives while maintaining lead quality and conversion integrity. * Ensure no sales initiative operates without clear performance tracking, ROI expectations, and corrective plans when results fall short. Team Leadership & Development (Sole Responsibility) * Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performing sales team aligned with Spectacular Academy's standards and culture.Establish clear expectations, compensation alignment, performance reviews, and advancement pathways. * Build a culture of ownership, accountability, energy, and continuous improvement. Sales Infrastructure & Systems (Sole Responsibility) * Architect and maintain scalable sales systems, workflows, reporting structures, and CRM integrity. * Implement outbound frameworks including dials, DM outreach, SMS, follow-up systems, and post-event sales execution. * Ensure all sales data is accurate, visible, and actionable across leadership. Cross-Functional Leadership (Shared Responsibility) * Partner closely with Marketing to align messaging, campaigns, funnels, and lead flow. * Collaborate with Operations to ensure enrollment, fulfillment, and student experience remain seamless as sales volume scales. * Communicate performance insights, forecasts, risks, and opportunities to the CEO and Executive Team. Leadership Operating Standards * If results are off track, you are expected to already be in motion on a solution before escalation occurs. * You are responsible for diagnosing breakdowns, proposing fixes, and executing corrective action without delay. * You do not wait for meetings to take ownership. Meetings are for alignment and review, not activation. * This role operates with full autonomy and accountability. Outcomes belong to the seat. These standards exist so the Director of Sales can operate with clarity, authority, and speed while driving consistent results week over week. Success Metrics The success of the Director of Sales will be measured by: * Revenue growth and predictability * Forecasting accuracy and pipeline health * Conversion rates across sales channels * Sales team performance, retention, and development * CRM data integrity and reporting accuracy * Speed and effectiveness of corrective actions Required Experience & Qualifications Must Have All of the Following: Proven Industry Experience * 4+ years in online coaching, online education, digital programs, or similar intangible product sales environments. * Demonstrated success selling high-ticket offers ranging from $15,000-$200,000. Sales Leadership Experience * Proven ability to build and scale sales teams including setters, high-ticket closers, outbound teams, and event/webinar sales. * Experience building a sales department from early stage to scalable infrastructure. Operational Excellence * Strong command of KPIs, dashboards, compensation plans, accountability systems, and structured sales rhythms. * Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-development capability.
