Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth: * Call on and meet with prospective and existing customers to promote MRO products and solutions, including maintenance supplies, tools, safety equipment, and other industrial consumables. * Identify customer needs and provide consultative solutions to support their maintenance and operational requirements. * Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. * Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize account potential. * Develop new contacts and opportunities within assigned accounts to gainshare of wallet through category expansion Territory Planning & Lead Generation: * Prospect within assigned region to generate and qualify new leads. * Utilize various channels such as networking, industry events, and referrals to expand reach. * Plan and execute territory coverage efficiently to optimize sales opportunities. Market & Competitor Analysis: * Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product innovations. * Provide feedback to management on market conditions and customer preferences. Competencies and skills * 3-5 years of outside sales experience within the MRO or industrial supplies industry preferred. * Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations products and the needs of manufacturing or facility management. * Proven success in B2B sales with a strong customer-focused approach. * Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Excellent time management and territory planning abilities. * Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office Suite for tracking and reporting. * Basic understanding of MRO product lines, including material handling, tools, safety equipment, fasteners, or related supplies. * Knowledge of material handling and industrial maintenance is a plus. * Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
