REGIONAL Sales Assistant HEAVY TRUCKS Compensation : $65,000 - $70,000 Travel: EXTENSIVE Weekly travel required Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Assistant to support our sales organization through live equipment demonstrations, walk-arounds, and product presentations. This role works closely with Regional Sales Managers, dealers, and end users to identify the best equipment solutions while providing operational, safety, and basic mechanical training. The ideal candidate brings strong energy, technical aptitude, and enjoys working hands-on with customers and heavy equipment in a fast-paced, travel- oriented role. MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVERS LICENSE WITH ABILITY TO GET CDL. MUST HAVE GOOD CREDIT TO BE GIVEN AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD FOR CORPORATE TRAVEL. WILLING TO TRAVEL WEEKLY (COMPANY PAID) Key Responsibilities * Provide sales and technical support to Regional Sales Managers and Vac-Con dealers to help generate leads and close new business * Conduct live equipment demonstrations and walk-around presentations for prospective customers * Deliver operational, safety, and basic service training to customers and end users * Investigate customer concerns, develop solutions, and provide recommendations to management * Assist in resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently * Collaborate with internal teams to support overall sales and customer satisfaction goals * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills * Ability to learn, operate, and demonstrate technical equipment * Highly motivated with a strong customer-service mindset * ABILITY TO OBTAIN CDL B or A * Valid driver's license with ability to travel weekly Key Skills & Competencies * Sales and closing ability * Prospecting and relationship-building skills * Strong presentation and communication skills * Negotiation and problem-solving skills * Analytical thinking and technical aptitude * Customer-focused, team-oriented approach Work Environment & Physical Requirements * Combination of indoor, outdoor, and field-based work environments * Frequent interaction with internal teams, dealers, and customers * Must be comfortable working around heavy machinery, tools, and industrial equipment * Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working on uneven surfaces * Exposure to factory environments, dust, noise, chemicals, and varying weather conditions * Ability to work at heights and travel weekly We build industry-leading equipment and value employees who bring professionalism, energy, and a strong work ethic.
