As a Sales Associate , you are the "face" of 7-Eleven and the heart of our store's operations. In this fast paced role, you will provide exceptional service to every guest while ensuring the store remains clean, stocked, and inviting. This position is ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy multi- tasking and interacting with the community. Key Responsibilities * Customer Service: Greet every guest warmly and provide prompt, efficient service. Assist customers with product locations and answer questions about store promotions. * Transaction Handling: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system with accuracy, managing cash and credit transactions, fuel sales, and lottery services. * Store Maintenance: Maintain a "customer-ready" environment by cleaning high-traffic areas, restrooms, and outdoor pump areas. * Stocking & Merchandising: Receive deliveries, rotate products, and stock shelves and coolers to ensure merchandise is fresh and appealing. * Food & Beverage Service: Prepare and maintain food-service areas, including brewing fresh coffee and ensuring hot food items meet health safety standards. * Sales Growth: Actively promote the 7-Eleven rewards loyalty program and use upselling techniques to increase store sales. Requirements * Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. * Physical Stamina: Capable of standing and walking for the duration of a shift and lifting up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis. * Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse customers and team members. * Math Skills: Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) for accurate cash handling. * Professionalism: A positive attitude and a commitment to punctuality and reliability. * Age Requirement: Generally must be 18 or 21+ depending on state-specific laws regarding the sale of age-restricted items like alcohol and tobacco.
