Full description of the position

Position Mission To drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing in- home HVAC system consultations, designing comfort solutions, and closing sales with professionalism, accuracy, and care. Overview: SameDay Heating & Air is hiring a Comfort Consultant to join our residential sales team. In this role, you'll meet with homeowners, assess their heating and cooling needs, and recommend customized solutions that fit their comfort goals and budget. You'll manage the full sales process from lead to close, supported by a strong marketing and service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, people-oriented sales professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment and is passionate about helping customers find the right solutions for their homes. Key Responsibilities: * Perform in-home consultations to assess HVAC system needs and explain product and service options * Build trust and rapport with homeowners by educating them on energy efficiency, equipment, warranties, and financing * Present proposals and close sales with professionalism, urgency, and integrity * Accurately measure, scope, and communicate installation needs for job setup * Work closely with installation coordinators and field teams to ensure a seamless customer handoff * Maintain accurate records in CRM and follow up with leads in a timely, consistent manner * Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs * Attend training sessions, team meetings, and ride-alongs to maintain product knowledge and sales technique * Represent the brand with professionalism and pride in every customer interaction Core Competencies: * Sales Acumen: Confidently presents, negotiates, and closes deals that meet customer needs * Customer Service: Builds lasting relationships through trust, respect, and listening * Technical Understanding: Accurately scopes HVAC systems and installation factors * Communication: Explains complex systems and financing options clearly and professionally * Follow-Through: Manages leads and tasks from consult to close with consistency * Drive for Results: Maintains a competitive mindset and meets individual performance goals Aligned with Our Shared Values: * Excellence: You deliver solutions that meet high standards for comfort, quality, and efficiency. * Integrity: You guide customers honestly and recommend only what's right for their home. * Solution-Oriented: You help homeowners find comfort solutions that solve real problems. * Collaboration: You work closely with install teams, dispatch, and customer service to ensure a great customer experience. * Innovation: You adapt to customer preferences, new products, and evolving sales tools to stay competitive. Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in residential sales, in-home consultations, or HVAC systems * Familiarity with HVAC products, installation processes, and comfort system design a plus * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Outstanding customer service skills * CRM and basic computer proficiency required * Strong organizational and time management skills * Valid driver's license and clean driving record * Must pass background check and drug screening Why you should work with us: One Team.
