The Spa Sales/Concierge is responsible for greeting and welcoming spa clients and ensuring an excellent first and lasting impression. The Spa Sales/Concierge is also responsible for overseeing and maintaining the spa boutique sales area and creating a beautiful presentation leading to accessibility and profitability of the spa. The Spa Concierge schedules spa treatments and services according to spa protocols, while utilizing Millennium Software with efficiency. With a strong knowledge of the products and services offered, the Spa Concierge is instrumental in communicating the benefits of both services and products according to the needs of the client. Additionally, the Spa Concierge manages work activities and client flow within the spa and maintains a profitable spa through client focus, sales generation, inventory management, shortage control, and safety measures. A successful Spa Concierge provides effective client interactions. The Spa Concierge helps to facilitate the functionality of the spa and is an advocate for the spa brand, maximizing spa volume in accordance with company goals, policies, and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Drive revenue growth by cultivating spa memberships, promoting holistic products/treatments, and building lasting client relationships that align with the Tammy Fender philosophy of personalized care and wellness. * Maintains a beautiful physical environment within the reception & relaxation areas, to pristine conditions as indicated in the spa manual * Greets and assists clients with scheduling and confirming spa treatments * Proactively takes initiative to schedule and reschedule client appointments in order to maintain full aesthetician books * Communicates extensive product knowledge to clients and guests * Stocks and maintains the spa boutique; assists with inventory management and other organizational tasks * Maintains a masterful knowledge of spa services and treatment packages * Enters client information and point of sale transactions with accuracy * Maintains a polished and professional image at all times, in accordance with dress and appearance standards * Communicates seamlessly with clients, co-workers, and aestheticians through all mediums * Promotes the sale of products, gift cards, and maintains accurate product and gift sales tracking data * Manages multiple phone lines * Assists other co-workers when asked * Ensures equipment and facility are maintained in exceptional order * Attends regular staff meetings and trainings to ensure customer service standards are achieved * Performs opening and closing procedures for guest service areas * Operates software such as Meevo, Microsoft Office Suite, and others * Performs additional spa duties as assigned Additional Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and grow retail sales through training, tools and monitoring * Anticipate, identify and ensure customer needs are being met in the best possible way, by guiding staff as caring and accommodating problem-solvers * Perform additional spa initiatives as assigned by management * Utilize problem-solving analysis and exhibit strong decision-making skills * Focused on attention to detail, taking initiative, and creating a positive working environment * Ability to work well with others, as well as the ability to work independently to drive a profitable spa * Exhibit sound business judgment and organization ability * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements: * Proven experience in a high-touch, customer service environment, preferably within the spa, luxury retail or hospitality industry; skin care knowledge is preferred * Experience using Meevo is a plus * Ability to multi-task and improvise on short notice Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
