Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager

Responsibilities

: This position entails all facets of managing a book of Commercial Insurance business to include but not limited to:

• Build relationships with current and prospective clients to better serve them and their portfolio of insurance policies.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Producer and Account Executive to meet the needs of the client.
• Manage a book of commercial insurance by marketing new business, renewing existing business, and analyzing coverage and risk exposure.
• Perform coverage comparisons, contract reviews, and negotiate with underwriters, as necessary.
• Oversee all invoicing, paperwork, and internal processing of assigned accounts.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and other documentation.
• Maintaining accounts in the Agency Management System
• Perform other duties and projects, as assigned.

Qualifications

:

• Active Property and Casualty Insurance Agent License (required)
• At least 1 year of Commercial Insurance Account Management experience (required)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• AMS360 experience a plus
• Interest in leadership and mentoring
• Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude and be a team player
