DC Beverage is a family owned and operated distributor of California craft spirits and wine. We focus on building brands, by developing long lasting relationships and presenting the stories behind our products. DC Beverage is in need of a on premise sales representative in the Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte Counties and Surrounding Area. The role is part-time, occupying probably 40 hours a month. We would also be interested in brokers representing other portfolios. This role will be responsible for calling on current accounts as well as developing new accounts in the territory. Duties and Responsibilities * Create long term meaningful relationships within the industry. * Provide a high level of service to the current customer base. * Call upon accounts consistently in person, on the phone and through email. * Increase sales at each account. Build the brands within the network. * Provide POS materials, staff educations, store tastings and participate in promotions, tasting events, and ride withs. * Work with accounts receivable to collect past due invoices and keep customers current. * Build the customer base by calling on and presenting the portfolio to new buyers. * Expand the territory by prospecting new accounts on a regular basis. * Participate in team meetings and video calls. * Work as part of a team coming together to reach common goals and objectives. * Provide communication of territory trends, opportunities, activities, necessities and threats with team. * Understand and comply with state and federal alcoholic regulations. * Be an example professionalism, punctuality, empathy, positivity, helpfulness, and kindness. Requirements * Goal orientated, organized, focused, disciplined, persistent and determined. * Self-starter that understands the opportunity which comes with hard work. * Have background knowledge of wine and spirits. * 3-5 years' experience in adult beverage sales. * Ability to lift and carry 50lbs. * Proof of clean driving record and reliable vehicle.
