As a Low Voltage Sales Representative, you will be integral to our mission of driving business expansion and strengthening our market position. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with clients, and delivering bespoke system solutions tailored to client needs. Your technical acumen will be crucial in preparing precise project estimates that align with client expectations and support the overarching goals of our company. Your success will depend on your ability to collaborate effectively within a team, communicate transparently, and stay attuned to the latest market trends. Through these efforts, you will directly contribute to achieving our ambitious sales and revenue targets. The compensation package for this position includes a base salary complemented by a competitive commission structure, offering significant earning potential for high achievers. Duties * Identify and pursue bid opportunities through research, networking, and client relationships. * Review plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, and equipment. * Perform site visits to assess project scope and gather necessary details for estimating. * Develop and present detailed proposals and quotations based on client needs and bid documents. * Coordinate with engineering and product vendors to ensure proper equipment selection and system design. * Maintain a current pipeline of opportunities and organize project files electronically. * Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure clear communication of project scope and requirements. * Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and project kick-off meetings as needed. * Manage change orders, revisions, and client communication throughout the bid and project process. * Identify value-engineering opportunities to enhance design and reduce project costs. * Follow up with clients after project completion to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage system sales, estimating, or project coordination. * Strong working knowledge of fiber optic, voice/data cabling, CCTV, access control, alarm, and A/V systems. * Proven ability to build detailed estimates from drawings, bid documents, or site assessments. * Ability to read and interpret electrical, architectural, and structured cabling drawings. * Familiarity with construction processes, bid coordination, and RFP documentation. * Knowledge of related trades (electrical, general contracting) and jobsite coordination. Skills * Excellent analytical, estimating, and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, APPLE OS (MAC, IPHONE & IPAD) * Experience with estimating or CRM/ERP software (D-Tools, Bluebeam, HouseCall Pro, or similar) a plus. * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously. * Self-motivated with a professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
