Vista Paint Corporation, a leading manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of high-quality paints and related products, has an immediate opportunity for a Sales Associate II at our Rancho Cordova a retail store. The Sales Associate position works flexible hours and shifts scheduled and determined by business needs at the time. This means you must be available to work on Saturdays. Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with paint and/or paint sundries. Sets up advertising displays or arranges paint and/or paint sundries on counters or tables to promote sales. Stamps, marks, or tags price on paint and/or paint sundries. Obtains paint and/or paint sundries requested by customer or receives paint and/or paint sundries selected by customer. Answers customers' questions concerning location, price, and use of paint and/or paint sundries. Totals price and tax on paint and/or paint sundries purchased by customer to determine bill. Accepts payment and makes change. Wraps or bags paint and/or paint sundries for customers. Cleans shelves, counters, or tables. Removes and records amount of cash in register at end of shift. Calculates sales discount to determine price. Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock, and orders paint and/or paint sundries. Delivers, upon occasion, paint and/or paint sundries to offsite locations when Driver not available. Must have clean driving record; no points. Pass background and drug screening.
