Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Catering Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and experience in coordinating catering events. This role involves overseeing all aspects of catering operations to ensure seamless execution. Job Description: Assist the Sales and Catering department in the administrative functions required for effective management of the Catering Department. * Account prospecting, solicitation, and development via telephone, personal contact, outside calls, correspondence, email and other means of communication. * Ensure sales and catering goals are met or exceeded. * Manage lead sources to ensure quantity and quality of leads. * Create customized wedding package, menus, and proposals, etc. * Respond to all customer inquiries within 24 hours or sooner. * Prepare and present proposals and contracts both written and verbal in a prompt, accurate, profitable, pleasant and professional manner. * Conduct hotel site inspections, entertain both in house and off property, and maintain thorough follow up methods. * Handle account details and coordinate final arrangements with F&B Managers. * Track and report on all catering and event sales activities for hotel. * Track and report on all event planner surveys and feedback. * Drive strategies to develop long term business relationships and repeat business. * Represent hotel at tradeshows, and other events to promote the hotel to prospective clients. * Monitor sales performance to ensure revenue goals meet or exceed established plan and accurately report variance/projections to management. * Participate in weekly revenue meeting and use Revenue Management resources to help make informed decisions and maximize revenue. * Occasionally cover front desk * Operate shuttle (Must have a valid Driver License) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: * Ontario, CA 91764 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Ontario, CA 91764: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
