Come and Grow with a Leader in the Industry PumpMan has an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Denver, CO. Responsibilities: * Grow sales of pumps and pump services to customers with irrigation and frost protection systems * Proactively prospect and manage the full sales cycle delivering customized technical solutions to specialized sectors including golf courses, cemeteries, municipal parks, landscapers, and green belt developments. * Prospecting on local businesses for replacement, maintenance, and service projects * Call on building managers, maintenance managers, and maintenance personnel. * Attend trade shows to promote our business * Follow-up on incoming sales & service leads * Maintain relationship with customers, providing ongoing sales support and handling service issues * Regular study product offering, types of equipment, and service capabilities * Constantly work to gain knowledge on competitors and their equipment. * Business to Business Cold Calling Qualifications and Skills: * High School or Trade School Diploma * Must have a minimum of 1+ years of proven sales experience and success with pumps, motors, and equipment in the water & wastewater industry * Must have a proven track record of selling and supporting irrigation pumping solutions, with established industry relationships in the golf, cemetery management, and commercial landscaping markets. * Experience with Water Tronics and Rainbird systems strongly preferred. * Technical Training School or experience in electrical/mechanical trade * Proficiency and aptitude to understand mechanical equipment and mechanical work * Diagnose problems and determine appropriate action for sales or service opportunities * Read, interpret, and work from sketches, books, blueprints, and specifications. * Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time * Knowledge of Electrical and control circuits * Excellent attitude and customer orientation * Strong analytical skills and proficient computer skills * Ability to work independently and work extended hours as needed * Reside near company location and willingness to travel within client territory * Must have a valid drivers license PumpMan, a Harrington company provides an outstanding benefits package, designed to support our employees health, financial wellness, and work-life balance, with options that go above and beyond standard offerings!
