Full description of the position
Position: Sales Development Representative Position type: Contract-to-hire. In-office Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm M-F Location: Salt Lake City, UT Compensation: $48,000 base salary (flexible) + commission (based on performance) Reports to : Sales Manager Travel: Moderate (primarily Western U.S., occasional national travel) Position Summary: We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help manage and organize inbound leads, ensuring the sales team has what they need to close new business. This is a key support role that requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our prospects--qualifying leads, organizing information, and entering it into our CRM so the sales team can move quickly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Monitor and respond to incoming leads through phone, email, website, and referral channels. * Gather and verify essential information (contact details, property info, service needs, etc.) for each lead. * Enter all lead data accurately into the CRM and assign to the appropriate sales rep. * Follow up on incomplete inquiries to ensure no opportunity is missed. * Assist with scheduling appointments, site visits, or follow-up calls as needed. * Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth handoffs and clear communication. * Support tracking of lead status and follow-up timelines to keep the sales pipeline moving. Qualifications: * 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative role (B2B experience a plus). * Experience with high-volume outbound calling, with an emphasis on quality conversations and qualification, not just call volume. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Clear and professional communication--written and verbal. * Comfortable working with CRM software (experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools is a plus). * Able to multitask and manage multiple leads at once without losing accuracy. * Self-starter who's comfortable taking initiative and asking the right questions. * Enthusiastic about learning and growing within a sales organization.
