Position Overview We are currently hiring a Retention Specialist / Account Manager whose primary focus is to stop cancellations and keep our customers happy and on board. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to resolve concerns, answer questions, and help them see the value of staying with us long-term. This is a high-impact position -- and we're looking for someone who takes accountability seriously. Being at work on time every day is essential. We need team members who are reliable, consistent, and committed to making a difference for both the company and our customers. Key Responsibilities * Proactively contact customers who are considering cancellation and work to resolve their issues * Explain service benefits and find solutions that restore confidence in our service * Manage existing customer accounts with the goal of improving satisfaction and retention * Track customer feedback and escalate recurring issues to leadership * Identify opportunities to recommend additional services when appropriate * Coordinate with technicians and office staff to ensure top-tier customer experience * Keep detailed notes and updates in CRM and follow up with customers as needed * Show up on time every scheduled workday -- this is a must! What We 're Looking For * Experience in customer service, retention, or account management (service industry preferred) * Excellent communication and listening skills * A proactive, persuasive approach to solving problems and saving accounts * A strong sense of personal accountability and reliability * Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset * CRM or scheduling software experience is a plus * Pest control industry knowledge is helpful, but not required Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off Work Location: In person
