About the opportunity Company Description Greenlight Marketing, headquartered in the Kansas City metropolitan area, is a full-service marketing agency that specializes in serving the marketing needs of manufacturers, large and small, including aftermarket companies, OE manufacturers, industrial companies. Role Description Kansas City area marketing agency is seeking a full-time sales account executive to call on automotive aftermarket, transportation, industrial accounts. Prior experience in the automotive aftermarket industry is strongly preferred. Looking for someone who understands the aftermarket landscape, including how aftermarket manufacturers, B2B and B2C companies, go to market. This is an individual contributor role. You will be a hunter. Looking for a self-starter; someone who requires little supervision and who can dive right in. You will work hand in hand with agency leadership in researching and identifying top prospects. Your job will be outreach -- you will be tasked with setting meetings, and while working with internal departments you will prepare recommendations, rationale and projections. You will be responsible for writing proposals, start to finish, scheduling presentations and pitching in person or virtually. Base salary is commensurate with experience. Uncapped commission. Should have a good understanding of marketing best practices, including digital marketing (SEO, SEM, Social, Digital Video, Connected TV, Digital Radio), and traditional media (Television, Cable, Outdoor, Direct Mail, Radio, Etc.) Should also be well-versed in using presentation tools and Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Benefits include healthcare insurance, life insurance and 401K. You will be measured against quarterly sales benchmarks. Qualifications * Must be self-motivated with a results-driven approach * Good foundational knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry preferred * Strong communication skills are essential * Proven sales experience required * Professional and dynamic presentation skills * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment * Ability to self-direct and to always be moving forward in building out your pipeline * Familiarity with Pipedrive or other sales CRM preferred * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred Job Type: Full-time Projected Total Compensation: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off * Referral program Experience: * Business development: 2 years (Required) * Sales: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
