Full description of the position

Key Responsibilities: * Greet customers and assess their flooring needs, preferences, and budget * Provide expert guidance on flooring products including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet * Explain product features, benefits, warranties, and care requirements * Prepare quotes, estimates, and sales orders accurately * Coordinate with installers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth order fulfillment * Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships * Maintain showroom appearance, product displays, and samples * Stay informed on current flooring trends, promotions, and inventory * Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals Qualifications & Skills: * Previous retail or sales experience preferred (flooring or home improvement experience a plus) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Customer-service mindset with problem-solving abilities * Comfortable working with basic math, measurements, and sales software * Ability to learn product details and technical information * Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand for extended periods * Occasional lifting of flooring samples or displays (up to 50 lbs) Schedule * Flexible availability, including weekends as needed Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive hourly pay $18-$20 and monthly commission structure * Employee discounts * Training and product education * Opportunities for advancement * Health insurance and 401K Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Paid time off Ability to Commute: * Spokane, WA 99202 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Spokane, WA 99202: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
