We're expanding rapidly across Texas and the South-Central U.S., and we're ready to add a strategic sales leader to help us scale to the next level. The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Business Development to architect, lead, and execute RTG's growth strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll have full autonomy to build relationships, open new markets, and develop a high-performing sales organization that drives profitable, sustainable growth.This role is ideal for a hands-on executive who thrives on closing deals, leading people, and shaping the direction of a growing company. You'll serve as the bridge between RTG's operational excellence and its next wave of national partnerships. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and growth strategy for fleet maintenance, heavy equipment, and mobile service lines. Prospect, negotiate, and close high-value, multi-location accounts across logistics, waste, and industrial sectors. Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Representatives and Account Executives as RTG expands. Partner with operations and dispatch leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and operational follow-through. Forecast revenue, analyze KPIs, and report sales performance directly to the CEO. Represent RTG at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to expand visibility and brand presence. Identify partnership and channel opportunities to accelerate growth. What You Bring * 4+ years of progressive B2B sales experience in fleet services, diesel repair, logistics, or industrial solutions. Proven success managing enterprise-level accounts or generating $1M+ in annual sales. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities--capable of building a scalable sales structure. Consultative, relationship-driven sales approach with deep knowledge of uptime, maintenance costs, and service value. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution, accountability, and measurable results. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or related field) or equivalent hands-on experience. Compensation & Benefits * Base Salary: $70,000-$85,000 (DOE) Commission: 8%-12% of new business. Leadership Bonus: Quarterly performance bonus tied to sales growth and team metrics with high upside for top performers Vehicle Allowance: Monthly car or mileage reimbursement Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off; company laptop.
