Duties * Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs, preferences, and project scope through active listening and expert consultation * Demonstrate product features and benefits via product demos, including flooring options, lighting design elements, and related renovation materials * Utilize SketchUp, CAD, or other layout design tools to create customized floor plans that meet client specifications and enhance interior aesthetics * Develop tailored proposals by upselling complementary products such as lighting fixtures, moldings, or maintenance services to maximize sales opportunities * Manage inside sales activities including POS transactions, cash handling, inventory stocking, and merchandising to ensure a seamless shopping experience * Collaborate with clients on remodeling projects by providing guidance on construction processes, renovation timelines, and maintenance requirements * Maintain comprehensive account management records and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the flooring, renovation, or construction industry * Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases * Proficiency with SketchUp, CAD software, or similar layout design tools; familiarity with lighting design is advantageous * Excellent negotiation skills to close high-end sales while ensuring customer satisfaction * Knowledge of remodeling processes, interior design principles, and maintenance practices related to flooring products * Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing, measurements, and inventory management accurately * Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're ready to leverage your expertise in flooring sales within a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
