This role combines customer-facing sales with point-of-sale responsibilities. You will welcome guests, assist them with purchases, promote merchandise and process transactions accurately. The ideal candidate has prior sales or retail experience, but we're willing to train a customer-focused individual eager to learn. Key Responsibilities: * Greet customers, answer questions and provide product recommendations * Operate the cash register, process payments and issue receipts or refunds * Cross-sell products, introduce promotions and meet or exceed sales goals * Maintain tidy checkout and sales floor areas and replenish merchandise as needed * Handle returns, exchanges and track transactions accurately * Assist with inventory, prepare displays and keep merchandise organized * Resolve customer concerns and contribute to a positive shopping experience Preferred Qualifications: * Previous retail or sales experience (preferred but not required) * Ability to manage cash transactions with accuracy * Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset * Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods * High school diploma or equivalent Compensation: * Hourly wage: $14.00 per hour * Commission and bonus opportunities based on sales performance Benefits: * Health and dental insurance * 401(k) plan * Paid time off
