Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at the cash register while also ensuring that our store shelves are well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong cash handling skills, a background in retail sales, and a keen eye for detail. We have multiple positions available, including driver and clerk roles, that need to be filled immediately. Candidates with the right skills and/or experience may be eligible to start as drivers. We offer flexible scheduling options, with consistent hours once assigned. Shifts range from as little as 4 hours to as many as 11 hours per day, available 3 to 5 days a week, with optional weekend work for those interested. Responsibilities * Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. * Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases. * Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales opportunities. * Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively. * Perform inventory checks and assist in maintaining stock levels to meet customer demand. * Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions and ensure accurate pricing. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom. * Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of daily tasks. Experience * Previous experience in cash handling or operating a cash register is preferred. * Familiarity with liquor store operations or retail sales is advantageous. * Strong understanding of retail math will be beneficial in this role.
