About Us Rise Radio LLC is an in-store media and advertising company that helps retailers and brands reach shoppers through in-store audio, digital signage, and advertising campaigns. As a growing, privately owned business, this role will work closely with leadership to build and scale our revenue function over time, with direct influence over how the company grows. The Role We are hiring a Business Development Manager to own revenue execution today and help build the revenue function for tomorrow. In the near term, you will sell and manage both subscription and advertising opportunities (including co- op funded advertising approvals). Over time, this role is intended to grow into a revenue leadership position that develops process, builds a team, and drives expansion into new verticals. What You'll Do * Own subscription and advertising revenue generation (prospecting, discovery, proposals, and closing). * Run co-op advertising outreach and approvals as a consultative touchpoint (understand goals, recommend campaigns, and drive adoption). * Identify and develop new advertiser verticals and partnership channels to diversify the client base. * Build and maintain a repeatable sales process (CRM hygiene in Zoho, pipeline stages, forecasting, and follow-up cadence). * Coordinate with Accounting/Operations to ensure clean handoffs for campaign setup, proof, and ad claims submission. * Represent the company at 1-3 trade shows per year (typical), plus occasional local meetings as needed. * Provide leadership-ready outputs: clear reporting, documentation, and recommendations for product and go-to-market improvements. What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) * Learn the product, pricing, and campaign workflow; become fluent in the co-op approval process and timeline. * Establish a consistent outreach cadence and convert co-op opportunities into approved campaigns. * Build a pipeline for new subscription growth and document a repeatable prospecting motion. * Deliver a simple new-vertical plan (target list, messaging, offer, and first experiments). * Keep Zoho up to date with clean notes, next steps, and campaign details so the process is scalable. Qualifications * 3+ years of B2B sales, business development, or account growth experience (advertising/media experience is a plus). * Comfortable owning a full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, proposal, closing, and renewal planning. * Strong consultative communication: asks good questions, builds trust quickly, and can lead conversations to a clear decision. * Organized and process-oriented: uses CRM well, documents work, and creates repeatable systems. * High integrity and strong data judgment; able to handle sensitive information responsibly (including adherence to company confidentiality policies). * Able to work in-office in Marietta and travel a few times per year for trade shows. Compensation & Benefits * Base salary: $70,000 * Performance-based annual bonus tied to Revenue Contribution (simple, scalable plan that supports future team growth). * New-vertical incentive tied to qualifying vertical launches * Health insurance contributions and paid time off. * Additional voluntary benefits available through our PEO, including options such as dental, vision, life insurance, and other programs/discounts.
