THE COMPANY: Innovative Risk Management (IRM), is a subsidiary of Arrowhead Intermediaries , the 9th largest privately held brokerage firm in the U.S. IRM offers alternative risk programs and reinsurance placement for Property & Casualty products within the Specialty Programs Insurance space. IRM also offers loss control and claims administration services to insurers, public entities, and self-insured organizations. PRIMARY PURPOSE: We are seeking an accomplished and driven Insurance Sales Producer with substantial expertise in Commercial Insurance to join our expanding team. This position is dedicated to serving mid-to-large construction, manufacturing, and distribution accounts by advising clients on strategies to minimize risk, optimize their insurance portfolios, and achieve sustainable financial advantages through captive solutions. While prior experience with captives is advantageous, it is not mandatory for candidates with significant commercial insurance backgrounds. The selected individual will collaborate closely with risk managers, CFOs, and business owners to identify alternative risk financing opportunities, design customized captive programs and provide guidance throughout the onboarding and implementation phases. CORE COMPETENCIES: * Prospect and develop new business opportunities with mid-to-large construction, manufacturing and distribution firms. * Educate clients on the benefits and mechanics of a variety of alternative risk transfer products. * Coordinate risk assessments and collaborate with underwriting and actuarial teams to evaluate captive feasibility. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CEO's, CFOs, Risk Managers, and Controllers). * Partner with internal teams to deliver customized proposals, presentations, and financial models. * Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging captive structures. * Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. QUALIFICATIONS: * 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales, including experience in captive insurance or alternative risk transfer products preferred. * Strong understanding of construction and manufacturing industry risks and insurance needs. * Proven track record of consultative sales to mid-market and large enterprise clients. * Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for non-technical stakeholders. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field (CPCU, ARM, or ACI designations a plus). * Superior analytical abilities including computer knowledge/skills, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM tools and Insurance systems). * Ability to consistently meet deadlines, deliver public presentations, and demonstrate strong negotiation skills. * Willingness to travel as needed which could result in approximately 35% of the year.
