Overview We are seeking a passionate and driven Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in design and sales to provide exceptional service to our clients. As a Design Consultant, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, offer tailored solutions, and guide them through the design process. Your ability to connect with clients and showcase our products will be key to driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. Duties * Engage with customers in a retail environment to understand their design needs and preferences. * Utilize strong customer service skills to build rapport and trust with clients. * Present product options effectively, highlighting features and benefits to encourage upselling. * Manage the sales process from initial consultation through to final purchase, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer. * Maintain an organized account management system to track client interactions and follow-ups. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall store performance. * Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations. * Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance sales techniques and product understanding. Qualifications * Proven experience in retail sales or inside sales, with a focus on direct sales techniques. * Strong background in customer service, demonstrating the ability to meet client needs effectively. * Experience in upselling products or services, showcasing an understanding of effective sales strategies. * Familiarity with technology sales is a plus, as well as any prior experience in sales management or account management. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients confidently. * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. * A passion for design and an eagerness to learn about new products and trends within the industry.
