Job Description : We are seeking a sales professional with a background in the biological sciences who can effectively bridge scientific knowledge with customer engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, presenting products and services, and supporting sales growth through direct interaction with laboratories, veterinarians, producers, distributors, and research institutions. The Sales Representative must be able to quickly learn and communicate technical product information, identify customer needs, and work independently to manage a sales territory. This role requires travel to customer sites, conferences, and meetings. Job duties include but are not limited to: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in animal health, diagnostics, vaccine research, and food/feed safety markets * Present and explain BioStone products and services to customers in person, virtually, and at meetings or conferences * Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate diagnostic, testing, or analytical solutions * Support new customer acquisition and existing account growth * Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, product management, operations) to ensure accurate technical communication and customer support * Travel to customer sites, distributor locations, and industry meetings as required * Track customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups using internal reporting tools * Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory considerations related to animal health and food safety Skills required: * Knowledge of animal health diagnostics, vaccines, or food safety testing * Experience selling laboratory products such as ELISA kits, PCR assays, reagents, or analytical services * Familiarity with veterinary, academic, government, or commercial laboratory environments * Experience working with distributors or channel partners * Ability to read and understand basic scientific or technical documentation * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly * Comfortable interacting directly with customers, both independently and as part of a team * Willingness and ability to travel regularly for customer visits and meetings * Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a field-based role Education / Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Animal Science, Microbiology, Immunology, or a closely related field * 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, or laboratory products Biostone animal Health offers a comprehensive medical, vision and dental insurance package, paid-off time to complement its competitive salaries, 401K plan About Biostone Animal Health Biostone Animal Health is a Dallas, TX based biotechnology company that provides innovative solutions across animal health, food and feed safety, and life science research.
