Eclipse Artisan Boutique, Wilmington's award-winning art gallery, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to join our team. This is an opportunity for someone who loves sales, understands customer relationships, and appreciates fine art and craft. Why This Role Is Different This is not a passive retail position. We are looking for someone who: * Knows how to engage customers, build trust, and close sales * Is motivated by goals and takes pride in delivering an exceptional buying experience * Enjoys working in a beautiful, fast-paced, high-volume gallery environment * Wants to be a key contributor to a small, collaborative team What You 'll Do * Drive sales by confidently presenting artwork and artisan products * Build relationships with customers to create repeat and referral business * Handle pricing conversations and negotiations professionally * Maintain organized systems for inventory, orders, and customer follow-ups * Support marketing efforts using social media and digital tools * Assist with daily gallery operations while maintaining a clean, welcoming space * Communicate effectively with customers, artists, vendors, and team members in person, by phone, and via email What We 're Looking For * Proven sales experience with strong negotiation and closing skills * Passion for customer service and relationship-based selling * Interest in fine art and craft (industry knowledge is a plus) * Advanced computer skills, including: * WordPress * Photoshop * Excel & Word * Gmail * Social Media Marketing * Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities * Positive attitude, strong ethics, and a team-first mindset * Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays Gallery Hours: * Sunday: 12 PM - 5 PM * Monday-Friday: 10 AM - 6 PM * Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM Closed Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year 's Day.
