New York Eye, a family-owned independent optical frame company is looking for a self-motivated, outside sales professional to service optometrists, ophthalmologists and opticians in Chicago, Illinois and Wisconsin. This is a field-based position with approximately 20% overnight travel. Overview: The Outside Optical Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting optical frames to eye care professionals within an assigned territory. This role combines relationship management, territory development, and product education to meet and exceed company sales goals. Responsibilities: * Build and maintain relationships with existing optometrists, ophthalmologists, and optical retailers * Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the region. * Conduct daily in-person visits with accounts to effectively manage board space and monitor brand positioning. * Deliver sales presentations and current eyewear lines at all appointments. * Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. * Ability to analyze sales data and reports to identify business opportunities * Develop weekly/monthly call cycle plans * Complete mandatory weekly reports to management * Successfully complete comprehensive training program Ideal candidates must possess the following: * 2+ years of outside sales experience * Motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision * Proven territory management and call cycle skills * Demonstrated track record in developing business to business relationships * Must currently reside in the territory * You must own a reliable car * Ability to lift sample bags up to 45 pounds New York Eye offers the following : * Competitive compensation package including salary, uncapped commissions and additional incentives * Monthly hotel/auto allowances * Medical Insurance * 401k/Profit sharing benefits program Please visit our website at [please apply online] Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $66,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance Work Location: On the road
