Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers with product selection, and ensure the sales floor is well- maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Bilingual abilities and previous supervisory experience are a plus. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your sales and merchandising skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and refunds * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities * Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking * Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly * Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries * Supervise or assist in supervising team members when applicable, ensuring smooth store operations Requirements * Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures * Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities (English/Spanish or others) is a plus * Experience with product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stock management recommended * Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette approach * Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated * Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations and transactions * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail * Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed; reliable attendance is essential * Must be at least 18 years or older.
