Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our team. As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating and selling design concepts for various customized window treatment projects. This position requires strong sales skills, some design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. Duties: - Create, develop and sell design concepts for customized window treatments, including but not limited to remodeling, renovation, and new construction windows. - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences - Use design tools to create visual representations of design concepts - Present design ideas to clients and make necessary revisions based on feedback - Coordinate with installers and other team members to ensure successful sales and implementation of window treatments - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in windo treatment design techniques Requirements: - Proven experience as a sales professional preferably in the home improvement industry - Proficient in window treatment product, design principles and techniques - Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus) - Ability to negotiate and sell customized window treatments effectively - Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively Job Type: Full-time Pay: $62,258.32 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Fuel reimbursement * Health insurance * Mileage reimbursement * Paid time off * Paid training Experience: * Merchandising: 1 year (Preferred) * Sales: 5 years (Required) * Home Improvement: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: * Chicago, IL (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Chicago, IL: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
