The UPS Store - Center Retail Sales Associate The UPS Store Center Sales Associate is responsible for offering World Class Customer Service to anyone who calls, emails or enters the store. Prerequisites: * No requested time off in December * Must become a Notary Public (company paid) and have no felony convictions * Must have dependable transportation and availability to work any day of week * Must have excellent communication and customer service skills * Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40lbs. Duties and responsibilities: * UPS Shipping - Domestic & International * Packing contents for shipments using the guidelines established * Measuring and weighing items for shipment * Offering our Pack & Ship Guarantee * Offering our products and services: printing, scanning, laminating, binding, passport photos, shredding, mailbox rentals, copying, returning, and shipping * Achieve monthly sales goals * Follow our Sales & Service Process * Sort US mail and place in appropriate mailbox; process incoming deliveries for mailbox customers * Keeping the store orderly and clean * Taking inventory of boxes, packing supplies and retail items * Learn how to use all office equipment (copiers, cutters, binding & laminating) Benefits: * Starting pay rate of $16.00; after becoming a Notary the rate increases to $16.50 * Short Term and Long Term Disability after 90 days * Free Life Insurance Policy in the amount of $50,000 upon hire * Health Insurance Stipend of $200 monthly after 6 months * Dental & Vision insurance upon hire * 5 days of Paid Time Off after 1 year * 401K with company match after 1 year * 2 uniform shirts and nametag (must be returned) * Professional development * Advancements and transfers * Locally owned and operated Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Paid time off * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Do you have a valid NC Driver's License? * Are you available to work Saturdays & Sundays?
