Job Summary As a Business Development Representative , you'll play a key role in fueling our growth by identifying, qualifying, and connecting with prospective customers. You'll leverage modern prospecting tools, strong communication skills, and your own determination to create meaningful opportunities for our sales team. Responsibilities * Generate sales leads by utilizing training resources and preset prospect lists; monitor market trends and engage potential customers through email, phone, social media, and other prospecting tools. * Qualify sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and determining alignment with JRC's service offerings, ensuring a smooth transition to the sales team. * Provide sales support by coordinating meetings, preparing sales materials, and ensuring the sales team has accurate and timely information for successful customer interactions. * Prepare quotes, bids, and proposals to effectively present company solutions and pricing prospective customers. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including lead information, activity notes, and reporting to support sales pipeline visibility. * Collaborate closely with the Sales Team by sharing qualified leads, aligning with customer requirements, and supporting strategies to maximize conversion rates. * Work safely at all times in compliance with company safety policies and all applicable federal, state, and local occupational health and safety regulations. Required Education and Experience * High school diploma or GED required. * Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office 365. * Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong active listening abilities, and the capacity to quickly build rapport. * Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within established deadlines in a competitive, fast-paced environment. Preferred Education and Experience * Previous experience in inside and outside Sales and account management in the transportation and/or logistics industry. * Proven experience as a top performer in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
