The Clinical Liaison promotes our durable medical equipment (DME) and respiratory services while providing exceptional clinical support to patients and referral sources. This role serves as a key connection between hospitals, healthcare providers, and patients, supporting business growth while ensuring high-quality respiratory care and compliance with company standards. The Clinical Liaison will work within a hospital system or regional territory as defined by the Regional Director of Sales and align outreach efforts with company growth objectives. Key Responsibilities * Represent Respire Homecare Services/Med Emporium in a professional, courteous, and ethical manner at all times * Promote company respiratory services and DME products to referral sources and patients * Develop new referral relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with a focus on retention * Participate in negotiations with referral organizations as requested * Coordinate and/or provide clinical respiratory services to patients * Deliver, set up, and educate patients/caregivers on respiratory equipment, including but not limited to: * Oxygen therapy * CPAP/BIPAP * Nebulization therapy * Apnea monitoring * Suctioning * Ventilation * Ensure patient and caregiver understanding of proper equipment operation * Assist with emergency respiratory equipment issues when appropriate * Complete clinical documentation and communicate patient progress to physicians as needed * Maintain accurate records of sales, marketing, appointments, and clinical activities in Brightree/Apacheta * Complete delivery tickets, equipment checklists, equipment checklists, and SOAP notes within 48 hours * Report equipment hazards, product incidents, and any misconduct or unethical activity per company policy * Participate in: * Performance Improvement programs * Company committees * Authorized surveys and inspections * Continuing education related to job responsibilities * Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand image * Participate in on-call rotation if desired and in accordance with company policy * Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Business Development Education & Licensure * Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) * Current and appropriate state license(s) required Required Skills & Experience * Minimum 2 years of experience in the HME or home health industry * Sales and marketing experience preferred * Strong knowledge of third-party payer policies * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills * Proficiency with computers, including word processing, email, and internet use * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams Why Join Respire Homecare Services/Med Emporium? * Make a meaningful impact on patient care * Work with a respected and growing healthcare organization * Combine clinical expertise with relationship-building and business development * Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Respire Homecare Services/Med Emporium is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
